There are quite a few PCT supplements widely used by bodybuilders that aren’t actually designed for that purpose. But they all work very well, and using Clomid for bodybuilding is one of those supplements to consider, but only if you can find where to buy Clomid online that’s reliable.
It’s one of the most popular, alongside Nolvadex. Both of these are designed to help suppress estrogen production in females, to help with fertility and cancer cell proliferation problems.
But what’s the deal with using Clomid for bodybuilding? Is it an effective post cycle therapy supplement that will suppress estrogen effectively, allowing testosterone levels to bounce back with minimal side effects?
Well, in this quick Clomid PCT review, I’m going to tell you everything you need to know. What Clomid is, how to use it, dosage, potential side effects to watch out for, and where to buy Clomid online that’s ideal to use as a PCT treatment.
What is Clomid?
Clomid was never designed for post cycle therapy. In fact, it’s an estrogen suppressing chemical (a selective estrogen receptor modulator, or SERM) that is used to help females ovulate more readily. So it’s basically a fertility treatment.
But as you’ve already clocked, it’s main ability is estrogen suppression. It does that by blocking estrogen’s interaction with the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland is where two key hormones are produced, LH, and FSH.
Estrogen suppresses its production, which lowers the body’s ability to produce testosterone. When LH and FSH levels are elevated again, testosterone production increases.
So it’s very similar to the other main PCT supplement used by bodybuilders, Nolvadex. It doesn’t have the same mechanism of action, but the outcome is increased testosterone levels because of the suppression of estrogen.
Using Clomid As A SARMs PCT
So look, if you want to use Clomid for bodybuilding, meaning you want to offset the potential problems of using SARMs to increase your gains, then you have to get past the disinformation about SARMs and Clomid.
SARMs are not half as aggressive as anabolic steroids. I would never go near anabolic steroids, and I want to put the right misinformation about SARMs in relation to using PCT supplements.
Some people say you don’t need a PCT supplement when you are using SARMs. That is complete nonsense.
You don’t need to use post cycle therapy with some SARMs. But those that don’t require it aren’t actually SARMs. GW-501516 (Cardarine) isn’t a SARM, it’s a PPAR-delta modulator. Likewise, MK-677 isn’t a true SARM either, it raises growth hormone receptor levels.
For some actual SARMs, you probably don’t need to use one, for lower doses of Ostarine for example, because it’s mild. Some people claim you don’t need to use one with Andarine S-4 either, but I don’t agree with that.
The thing is, any true SARM at a high enough dose will be suppressive. Especially if you are stacking SARMs, then you are likely to hit the territory where the dose could be suppressive.
So the thing is to know what the signs of suppression are and to have a Clomid PCT supplement to hand so that you can react. The symptoms of testosterone suppression include:
- Low mood
- Low physical energy
- Mood swings
- Low sperm count
- Shrunken testicles
- Gynecomastia (basically breast tissue formation, often just known as gyno)
Now obviously the gyno problem is the biggest one. If you don’t stop the formation of breast tissue, it would require surgery to remove it. So it’s imperative that you undertake post cycle therapy to avoid this.
Also, if you persistently suppress your testosterone levels it can actually program the body to permanently produce a lower level, no matter what you do.
That’s why post-cycle therapy using something like a Clomid PCT supplement is absolutely essential. I personally use Clomid after every SARMs cycle, even if it’s only at a low dose.
Clomid PCT Dosage
So let’s talk about the sort of Clomid PCT dosage you should be used to allow your testosterone levels to bounce right back up to normal, or even to more elevated levels. Now the dosage will depend on the purity, so finding pure Clomid for sale is obviously essential. I’ll tell you where you can buy Clomid online that’s 100% pure shortly.
But for bodybuilding, Clomid doses should be a lot lower than when used as a fertility supplement. Doses should also be lower for using after a SARMs cycle than they would be if you are in the mad world of anabolic steroids.
So don’t get confused when you read about very high doses of Clomid, it’s probable that they are referring to a dose for fertility treatment, or it’s a bodybuilder whose into steroids.
The dose I’ve always used straight after a SARMs cycle is 50 mg of Clomid PCT. I do that for a week, and then I drop it right down to 25 mg for a further three weeks.
However, if I’ve stacked SARMs, and I’ve used higher doses, especially if it’s something like RAD-140, or LGD-4033, then I sometimes start as high as 100 mg for the first week, and then drop back to 50 mg for the following three weeks.
Only you know your body, and once you learn to spot the side effects, it’s easy to tailor the dose of your Clomid PCT treatment.
You can use Clomid on cycle as well. So if you spot signs of testosterone depression halfway through your SARMs cycle, you can start a low dose, say 25 mg, to address this.
However, I would personally not take that risk, I would stop the SARMs cycle early, and hit my body with a higher dose of Clomid PCT to make sure that gyno doesn’t start developing.
Side Effects Of Using Clomid For Bodybuilding
There are some minor side effects of using Clomid as a PCT for bodybuilding. However, the great news is that they aren’t significant side effects. Realistically, unless you are taking a very strong dose, like 200 mg, then you’ll only experience some of the following, and at a very minor level:
- Upset stomach
- Blurry vision
- Hot flushes
Now that side Clomid effects are pretty common to a lot of medication, and most people don’t actually suffer any of them. I certainly have never experienced anything other than a bit of nausea when taken Clomid on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Other than that, the side effects of using Clomid as a PCT have been non-existent for me.
Letrozole Vs Clomid
So look, Clomid makes an excellent PCT treatment. Nolvadex comes a close second, while a lot of people use something called Letrozole. But if we are going to compare Letrozole Vs Clomid, then what are the actual differences?
Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor, that is licensed for use by women who have breast cancer. It works slightly differently to Clomid. Estrogen is produced by the conversion of androgens through activity stimulated in the aromatase enzyme.
So Clomid stops estrogen interacting in the pituitary gland, while Letrozole instead directly blocks the conversion of androgens into estrogen in the first place.
However, for me, the thing that would stop me using it over Clomid is that there is some evidence that long-term use can lead to bone brittleness, known as osteoporosis. Now I think you have to take a high dose consistently for a long time for that to happen, but when Clomid does not have this as a major side effect, why bother?
Where To Buy Clomid PCT Online
As with SARMs, the main problem with using Clomid for bodybuilding is finding pure Clomid for sale in the first place.
Because it’s not licensed for bodybuilding, it’s difficult to get your hands on, except unlicensed online sellers, just the same as for SARMs.
Thankfully for me, I’ve found somewhere fantastic to buy Clomid online. It’s one of the places I buy all my SARMs from as well. They are USA-based, offer free shipping, and have a full moneyback guarantee on everything they sell. Plus, they guarantee everything they sell is independently lab tested, with published results.
The company is called Swiss Chems, but don’t let that fool you, they are definitely based in the USA.
They sell Clomid PCT supplements in tablet form, which is brilliantly convenient. Each tablet is 25 mg, and 100 tablets will cost you $108.90 (at time of writing). If you are a fan of using bitcoin, then you can knock 20% of that price, as Swiss Chems give that discount for using cryptocurrency as your payment method.
So look, Clomid as a PCT is low risk and weighed up against the risk of gyno, or permanently suppressed testosterone levels, it’s really a no-brainer.
Swiss Chems will sell you 100% pure Clomid online, and I’ve used them myself for two years with no problems at all. SARMs are fantastic if you are sensible, and as long as you back it up with at least four weeks post cycle therapy after a cycle, then you shouldn’t ever really have any problems.
