Macujo Method Review: Pass A Hair Follicle Drug Test Guaranteed
This Macujo method review has been inspired by my own experiences over the past two years. At the start of this year, I had a urine drug test, and then later in the year I had a hair follicle drug test as well. Let me tell you, there is no comparison. A hair follicle drug test is a disaster to face.
So look, I’m going to talk about the Macujo method, and how it’s the best way to pass a hair drug test. But more than that, I’m going to tell you how to pass a hair follicle drug test in 24 hours, basically when you got very short notice of it happening.
I’ll tell you about the other methods out there people use to try and pass a hair follicle drug test, things like the Jerry G method, and some crazy stuff you should really never go near.
To make things crystal clear, I’ll go through both the Jerry G method, and the Macujo method step-by-step, so you can see what’s involved in both. Plus I’ll tell you what products you need to do them, and where to buy them.
So right here you’ll have everything you need to know to find the best way to pass a hair follicle drug test guaranteed, all in one easy guide.
How I Discovered The Macujo Method
I started to panic about how to pass a hair follicle drug test late last year. I got a new job, and it was a basic urine test, not a hair follicle test in the end. So I just submitted some Sub Solution, and I was good to go.
But then I was up for promotion a few months back, and that was a whole new ballgame. I was told they would do a drug test as part of the interview process, as I would be alongside external candidates. When I found out it was going to be a hair follicle drug test, I panicked a bit, because I’m smoking weed 3-4 times a week, as well as a bit of recreational MDMA every couple of months.
So I was facing a hair follicle drug test as an infrequent user really, but because of how hair stores metabolites, I was screwed. Once in your hair, it’s in there until it cut. And as it’s the hair closest your scalp, you have to shave your hair to not get caught.
So first I thought about shaving my head, then I thought that would look ridiculously suspicious as I already work for the company. I also read online that that’s a non-starter anyway, as they will simply take hair from somewhere else on the body. And if you shave your entire body, you’ll just be rejected anyway, because the suspicion on you would be ludicrous.
Which led me down the path of detox shampoos. And they really aren’t going to work. You cannot expect to pay $30 to get drug metabolites out of your hair. I’ll tell you about how drug metabolites get into the hair in a moment, but the result of my search led me to 2 methods: the Jerry G method and the Macujo method.
How Drug Toxins Get Trapped In Your Hair
Before I tell you the best way to pass a hair drug test in this Macujo method review, and I think you probably already guessed the best way from the title, I want to explain how drug toxins get trapped in your hair.
When you smoke weed or take in any drug, the active ingredient is converted into metabolites, toxins, which work their way through your bloodstream, and then out of your body through sweat, urine, stools, and also out through your hair.
But they aren’t meant to leave via your hair follicles. What happens is that while they are in your bloodstream, they get attached to the inside of the hair follicles, where the new hair is growing, and they get trapped there.
Hair consists of three layers, a hard central core, then the cortex around that that has the pigment, and then the cuticles, thousands of tiny little scales which overlap to protect the hair and make it flexible.
Drug metabolites get stuck between the cortex and the cuticles as the hair grows out of the scalp, so to get rid of them you have to open up the cuticles and flush them out. That’s not easy to do at all.
How The Jerry G Method Works: Step-By-Step Guide
So as I said, the two best ways to pass a hair follicle drug test are the Macujo method and the Jerry G method. So let’s take you through the Jerry G method step-by-step.
- To do the Jerry G method, you’ll need a bottle of bleach, and ammonia-based hair dye, Toxin Wash shampoo, Zydot Ultra Clean shampoo, baking soda, a couple of fresh combs, and rubber gloves.
- The first proper step is the same with both the Jerry G method and the Macujo method. You have to stop taking in toxins. That means to stop smoking weed for as long as possible before your drug test.
- On day one, bleach your hair and then dye it. Obviously you should pick one close to your natural color so it’s not obvious you tamper with your hair. Then wash your hair with Toxin Wash shampoo.
- 10 days after you dyed your hair, bleach and dye it again in exactly the same way, and then wash your hair again with Toxin Wash shampoo.
- On the morning of your test, create a paste of baking soda and water, and then apply that liberally to your hair. Keeping it in place with cling film is a great idea. Keep it on for at least 15 minutes, and then rinse it all out.
- Then wash your hair again with Toxin Wash shampoo. And then wash your hair with Zydot Ultra Clean one hour before you leave for your test.
Why I Didn’t Use The Jerry G Method
But the thing is, I decided that the Jerry G method was not the best way to pass a hair drug test. My reasons for that were pretty straightforward:
- It can ruin your hair temporarily or permanently
- You can get caught out if they spot the hair dye
- There were lots of negative reviews online saying it didn’t work
- The Jerry G method can burn your scalp really badly
Now I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot of compelling reasons to not use this method. That’s why I started reading Macujo method reviews and found that it was a far better option to investigate.
Avoid Cheap Detox Shampoos!
Even if you’re trying to pass a hair drug test as an infrequent user, you really shouldn’t think that detox shampoos will work on their own.
The best one out there is Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo, which is part of the Macujo method. But even that on its own is unlikely to be able to open up all the hair shaft cuticles and strip out all the toxins.
The rest a really low quality. Toxin Wash actually has a lot of negative reviews, which is another reason the Jerry G method didn’t appeal to me.
Zydot Ultra Clean is the best of the bunch, but it’s actually useless on its own. But it is the best at cleaning up loose toxins on your hair and scalp after you have done the Macujo method.
Everything else should really be ignored. Magnum shampoo, Synergy Detox, Test Pass shampoo, all of these things should be ignored. You will not pass a hair follicle test using any of those on their own.
Reviews of all of them are terrible, and I’ll be honest, I can’t believe anyone is dumb enough to think that a $30 shampoo has the ability to strip out drug toxins. I don’t think people understand where the toxins get trapped in the hair, I think they believe the toxins are just loose on the surface.
The Macujo Method Instructions
So now we’ve established that the Jerry G method is too intrusive and damaging, let’s look at the Macujo method steps in detail.
This is the exact method I used, and it’s definitely the best way to pass a hair follicle test. It is intrusive, but it’s more about the fact that it’s intensive, it’s how many times you have to do it and how many steps are involved each time.
The Macujo method is also expensive. You’re looking at $300 for the ingredients you will need. But let’s face it, if it’s about keeping a job, or getting another 20 grand in a promotion, then it’s worth doing for a week. For me, that was worth the investment.
So the instructions for the Macujo method are as follows:
- You will need to gather together your ingredients:
- Clean & Clear pink shampoo (or similar containing salicylic acid)
- Tide detergent or similar
- Quality white vinegar like Heinz vinegar
- Zydot Ultra Clean
- Old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo
- Rubber gloves, clingfilm or shower cap, plenty of warm water
- Preferably some goggles as well
- Put on the goggles and get yourself next to a deep sink, or next to your bath. Wash your hair thoroughly with lots of warm water. Then apply the vinegar to your hair, working in thoroughly, right down to the roots.
- Then without removing the vinegar, use Clean & Clear pink straight away. Again, liberally apply it on to the hair and scalp, working it in really thoroughly.
- Your hair and scalp will be stinging by now, but don’t worry, it’s not like the bleach of the Jerry G method, it won’t permanently damage your hair or scalp. Wrap clingfilm around your head (better than a shower cap because it keeps the solution tight against your hair and scalp) and then leave for one hour, or as long as you can bear, but at least 30 minutes.
- Remove the clingfilm and thoroughly wash your hair with warm water until it’s feeling “squeaky”.
- Then apply a good amount of old style Aloe Rid shampoo to your hair and scalp, and work it in thoroughly. Wash it all out, and repeat the process.
- The final stage of each time completing the Macujo method is to put a few drops of Tide detergent into the palm of your hand, and then work that thoroughly into your hair and scalp as well. Leave it for 15 minutes, then wash it out thoroughly with water until it’s completely squeaky clean again.
- On the day of your test, about an hour before you leave, wash your hair with Zydot Ultra-clean. This will clear up any loose toxins on your hair and scalp.
How Many Times To Do The Macujo Method?
Phew! So as you can see, the Macujo method is very involved, but it’s definitely the best way to pass a hair drug test, which is why this Macujo method review has been written to help you guys.
But one of the big questions that are never answered, is around how many times you should do the Macujo method.
Well, all the evidence I’ve seen is that people claim it’s best to do it for a complete week. Twice daily, over the seven days before your drug test, then use Zydot Ultra Clean on the day of your test.
Now in an ideal world, you can do that, even though it’s a huge investment in time twice per day for a week. In fact, you probably need to take a week off from work to do it, but I guess if you’re looking for a job then you will have that time.
But here’s the program I had to use, as I didn’t have a full week available:
- Twice on Monday
- Twice on Tuesday
- Twice on Wednesday
- Twice on Thursday
- Once on Friday morning
- Zydot on Friday after lunch before my interview
So that was a total of nine times, which was close enough to the 10-14 times I had seen mentioned on forums over several years from people who then posted to say they had passed.
There Is No Substitute For Aloe Rid Shampoo
Now I’ve seen a lot of people asking why they can’t just substitute Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo for a cheaper detox shampoo. After all, as I will explain in a minute, old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo is very hard to get your hands on and costs $200 or more.
But there’s a reason for that, it really works. Although Zydot Ultra Clean is a good shampoo, it’s not powerful enough to strip the toxins out from the hair shaft, and it will be a critical error to assume it could work on its own.
Even as part of the Macujo method, a lower quality detox shampoo than Aloe Toxin Rid simply won’t be powerful enough to strip out the toxins.
Look, if you going to invest in a week of trying to clean out your hair to pass a drug test, then it’s important enough to invest a couple of hundred bucks in the process?
How To Find Real Old Style Aloe Rid Shampoo
Old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo is crucial to the Macujo method and any decent review of the Macujo method has to make that clear. There are no substitutes here, and there’s a reason for that.
Quite a few years ago, a company called Nexxus released Aloe Rid shampoo. It was designed to get rid of harsh chemicals, free radicals, basically to remove toxins from your hair. It was great, and it worked brilliantly, and people started using it to trying to get rid of drug toxins.
But unfortunately it was so strong it did start to affect peoples scalps, so Nexxus changed the formula. That sent the price of the old formula skyrocketing, and even now several years on, you’ll still get people on eBay and Amazon, and some websites, claiming they have stocks of the old formula Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo available.
However, that’s not true. The old stocks were exhausted years ago, and anything you can buy on Amazon or eBay, claiming to be the original formula is a fake. You should not buy it from anywhere other than from a company called TestClear.
TestClear actually recreated the formula and have now released as their own product called old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo.
It’s not cheap, it’s $235. But you can get a combination deal where you buy it alongside Zydot Ultra Clean for $235, saving you the $35 for Zydot.
Something people often search for online is how to pass a drug test in 24 hours. That basically means they are close to a drug test and in danger of getting caught out. It’s even worse if you’re up for a hair test because you’ve already lost the advantage of using the best way to pass a hair drug test, a full-on seven-day Macujo method run.
But, you not completely screwed. The best way to pass a test at short notice is still to use the Mac method. All you can do is fit in as many times as possible.
If you only have a day before your drug test, then you’re going to need all the ingredients for the Macujo method in your house ready to go. So if you think you could be up for one ever, then grab those ingredients now. Shipping from TestClear could take 3-4 days, so don’t risk it.
The basic principle is to complete the Macujo method as much as possible. The whole Mac method process takes around one hour. So in a day, you could easily do it three or four times.
Then on the morning of your test, you could do it once more, then rinse your hair through with Zydot Ultra clean, and go and take your test.
That still gives you five times completing the Macujo method, which is nearly 50% of the recommended 10 times. Not good enough, but your best chance of passing, especially if you are facing a hair follicle drug test as an infrequent user.
So that’s it really, the conclusion of my Macujo method review is that it’s the safest way to pass a hair drug test. There are really no substitutes that don’t destroy your hair or are completely useless, so please don’t waste your time looking for them.
How To Pass A Hair Follicle Test FAQs
Are there any home remedies that work for a hair drug test?
The short answer is no. No home remedies will get you through a hair drug test. The reason for this is simple. To get drug toxins out of your hair, you have to open up the cuticles, the top layer of each piece of your hair, that’s covered in thousands of tiny interlocking scales. They have to be opened, and the toxins flushed out from underneath. People use bleach, baking soda, lemon juice, all sorts of crazy stuff, but none of those home remedies will pass a hair drug test.
Does the Macujo method work without Aloe toxin rid shampoo?
No, the Macujo method does not work without Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo. The reason for that is because the old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo contains ingredients that really help to strip out drug toxins. No other detox shampoo out there has the power to strip all the toxins out in the way that old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo can.
Is it possible to pass a hair drug test naturally?
The only way to pass a hair drug test naturally is to not take drugs for at least three months. A hair follicle drug test takes a sample from your head equal to your last three months growth, usually around 1 1/2 inches. So as long as you haven’t taken any drugs for three months, then you should be fine, but it is recommended to have a nice haircut as well.
Can a relaxer help you pass a hair drug test?
Yes, a relaxer can help you to pass a hair drug test. Studies have shown that using a relaxer, a chemical straightening agent, can significantly decrease the number of drug toxins in your hair. However, those studies have shown that if you’re unlucky, as much as 30% of the original toxins can still remain in place. So on its own, it’s still not the solution unless you are facing a hair follicle drug test as an infrequent user.
If I use the Macujo method will my hair be permanently clean of toxins?
Yes, the Macujo method will permanently cleanse your hair of toxins. It opens up the cuticles, the top layer of hair, and then Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo flushes out the toxins inside the hair shaft. So once the toxins are gone, your hair is permanently clean, unless of course, you take drugs again.
Where to buy detox shampoo that works?
No detox shampoo on its own will work. The only detox shampoo, which has to be used as part of the Macujo method. You can only buy old formula Aloe Rid shampoo that will work as part of the process to remove drug toxins is old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo from TestClear.
