Can You Pass A Urine Drug Test With Baking Soda?

If you’re looking for a way to pass a urine sample drug test, then home remedies are definitely something you will read about. Home remedies are a way to use simple household products to flush out the toxins. Using baking soda to pass a drug test is a method you will read about a lot.

But what’s the truth about being able to pass a urine drug test with baking soda? Is it something that is viable, or is it just an Internet myth?

Well, in this guide to using baking soda to pass a drug test, I’m going to tell you what the baking soda method is, the instructions for using baking soda to pass a drug test, whether there’s any scientific evidence it could work, and what the possible problems could be.

Plus, if you’re not convinced by the baking soda drug test method, then I’ll also tell you about some other strategies you can use that I’ve found, that will guarantee you pass a urine sample drug test.

What Is The Baking Soda Drug Test Method?

It’s been rumored for years that drinking baking soda can help you pass a drug test. The idea is that it flushes out toxins from your body, leaving your urine sample clean so that you pass easily.

This is the same with a lot of home remedies to pass a drug test. You’ll read about all sorts of them, and I’ll talk about them a bit later, the idea is that they cost you very little money to do, and what you need in terms of ingredients is readily available.

The baking soda drug test method is one of the simplest, because obviously baking soda is something that is assumed to be safe, and readily available. But what exactly are the baking soda drug test instructions, and is there any possibility that you could use baking soda to pass a drug test successfully?

Baking Soda Drug Test Instructions

Now the good news is that the baking soda drug test instructions are really straightforward, and the method itself is very simple overall.

You basically lump a couple of big teaspoons of baking soda into a glass of water, stir until it’s mixed in, and then you drink it as quickly as possible.  You then wash out the glass and drink that water again.

Some variations of the baking soda drug test method suggest you should do a second glass a couple of hours later. So you could do that if you can manage it.

You’re then meant to urinate as frequently as possible so that the drug toxins are flushed out of your body. A couple of hours after drinking the baking soda, the toxin should be gone, and your sample should be clean.

So the baking soda drug test instructions, as you can see, a very straightforward. However, it’s once you have started drinking the baking soda when the problems will start.

Can You Pass A Urine Drug Test With Baking Soda?

As I just said, it’s once you’ve drunk the baking soda the problems will begin. Firstly, if you can keep it down at all, then you’ll be doing well.

Secondly, even if you can keep it down for a little while, the chances are the baking soda is going to make you vomit. Repeatedly and violently. Plus, you’ll be urinating because of all the liquid, and within about half an hour, your guts will turn to liquid as well, and you’ll be on the toilet.

This can go on for hours, depending on how much baking soda you’ve drunk when following the baking soda drug test instructions.

And at the end of it, will you pass a drug test? Well, unfortunately, the truth is you won’t.

There is literally not a shred of scientific evidence that you can pass a urine drug test with baking soda. It’s an Internet myth, an urban myth. But whatever you want to call it, is just not true. I have no idea why people think it could work.

Why Do Some people Think The Baking Soda Method Works?

I suspect that some people think the baking soda method could work because they’ve heard from someone that it does. Now that could just be somebody lying, or it could be that they got lucky.

They could have only had low drug exposure, and only had a few metabolites in their body. The liquid, the vomiting, all of it could have got rid of the metabolites, and then they got lucky with their sample not being flagged as suspicious, diluted, out of balance, whatever.

But the bottom line here is that there is literally no scientific evidence the baking soda drug test method could work. Baking soda is converted into salt in the stomach, just plain old salt. Now if I told you could mix salt with water and drink it, you wouldn’t think it would work, so why would you because it’s baking soda?

Do Home Remedies Work?

 So at best, if you’re trying to use baking soda to pass a drug test, then you’re going to feel sick. At worst, you’ll fail a drug test and not get that job, lose your probation, whatever situation is.

The baking soda method is a home remedy. No home remedies work. Not one. I’ve actually tried most of them over the years, including the baking soda method, at home. Then I’ve used home drug test kits, which are dirt cheap, to see if I’m clean. I’ve never found a home remedy in three years of doing these tests that has passed a home drug test kit.

Drinking various types of tea, cranberry juice, pickle juice, vinegar, some people even claim you can mix baking soda with bleach, it’s all madness, potentially dangerous, and none of it works.

The only way to pass a urine sample drug test is to follow one of the three strategies I’m now going to outline for you.

How To Pass A Urine Drug Test

So look, I really hope you won’t be dumb enough to try and use baking soda to pass a drug test. Especially when there are lots of affordable ways out there to pass a drug test, even if you are riddled with drug toxins.

The three strategies you have to pass a urine sample drug test, that don’t involve home remedies like baking soda are:

1. You can use a detox drink. But this is a proper detox drink, not something put together at home. It is concentrated enough to flush out the toxins. Plus, it won’t dilute your sample. Most importantly, a good quality detox drink also contains nutrients and minerals that will keep the balance of your urine correct.

All you have to do is drink the detox drink a couple of hours before your drug test. Then urinate several times, and go and take the test. If you can detox by not smoking weed or whatever for a couple of days beforehand, then that will make the effects even more certain for up to 5 hours. You won’t feel sick, you won’t have diarrhea, and you will pass the drug test.

The best ones out there for me, I’ve used in real drug tests are Rescue Cleanse, Ultra Eliminex, and Mega Clean. They cost between $50 and $80, which is a great value when it will guarantee you passing a drug test.

2. The second way is to do a natural detox. But that can take a couple of weeks, especially if you are a chronic user. But you can accelerate a natural detox by using drug detox pills. These contain a range of specialist natural ingredients that will help to speed up the elimination of toxins, by aiding your body’s natural processes.

3. The third way of passing a urine sample drug test, that doesn’t involve something crazy like using baking soda, is to use synthetic urine. For me, this is actually the easiest way of passing a drug test, and it’s the method I would always recommend you consider first.

Sub Solution, and it’s premixed cousin called Quick Luck, are the ones I would always recommend. Not cheap, $80 and $100 respectively, but they are the most complex formulas on the market. So they will pass tests for validity, and they don’t contain artificial preservatives that some drug labs look for.
