Nolvadex PCT: How To Use, Dosage, Side Effects & Where To Buy Nolvadex
More people should use Nolvadex PCT than currently do. But why do so many people forget to use it when it’s really easy to find Nolvadex for sale online?
So in this education piece, a short Nolvadex PCT review, I’m going to tell you which SARMs require Nolvadex post cycle therapy, what sort of Nolvadex dosage you should be using, and whether you can use Nolvadex on cycle.

SARMs That Require Nolvadex PCT
Not all SARMs require a PCT. But that’s because some SARMs aren’t actually SARMs at all.
Cardarine (GW-501516) is not a true SARM and doesn’t require a PCT supplement because it isn’t suppressive. This is also the case with Nutrobal (MK-677).
However, you will require a full Nolvadex PCT supplement if you use YK-11, RAD-140, or LGD-4033.
Some people also require a Nolvadex PCT supplement if they use the more mild Ostarine or S4 Andarine SARMs. However, that only the case if you a long cycle or a high dose.
In fact, short cycles of any SARMs won’t always require a PCT supplement. Or you might get away with a mini PCT supplement. If your cycle is longer than six weeks though, I would always recommend you do full post cycle therapy for at least four weeks.
I usually cycle SARMs over eight weeks. I don’t go any longer than that because I always stack them. So for me, the amount of SARMs I’m taking means that I have to use Nolvadex as a PCT for at least a month after finishing the SARMs cycle.
Nolvadex PCT Dosage
So what sort of Nolvadex PCT dosage should you be looking at using? And how long should you be doing post cycle therapy for? For me, I always do a minimum of four weeks PCT. If I’m using Nolvadex, I’d dose it at 20 mg per day.
However, if I’ve stacked SARMs, especially something like Testolone, then I would make the initial week a 30 mg per day dose, and possibly the second week as well depending on how suppressive I feel.
To give you an idea of how I mix Nolvadex PCT into my routine, I usually do a SARMs stack over eight weeks. I’ll then do four weeks of PCT using Nolvadex, followed by a complete break of 12 weeks before starting my next cycle.
I’ll dose Nolvadex PCT at 20 mg per day, over that four weeks. You only need to dose once per day, as early as possible, because Nolvadex has a long half-life of up to a week (5-7 days).
Just make sure that if you have significant gyno symptoms, that even if Nolvadex deals with them, that you have a break at least the length of your SARMs cycle PLUS your PCT duration before you start your next SARMs cycle.
Using Nolvadex On Cycle
One question I’ve been curious about after I was asked down the gym a while back is can you use Nolvadex on cycle?
For me, I just don’t see why you can’t. If you start to develop gyno symptoms then you need to deal with them from that point, not ignore them for several weeks before you start doing that, because you will make things harder and more stressful, with a greater chance of nasty side effects.
If you start to feel suppressive symptoms, or spot gyno symptoms (bumps on your chest, or problems with your testicles), then I would use Nolvadex on cycle immediately. It actually hasn’t happened to me yet, but it’s definitely what I would do. However, I would consider shortening the cycle if I did have to deal with that situation.
Nolvadex Side Effects
Nolvadex side effects do exist. However, some of the potential side effects will depend on your Nolvadex PCT dosage. If it’s low, and you’re not doing a long post cycle therapy course, then obviously side effects will be less likely to occur or will be less significant.
But in terms of the Nolvadex side effects you could potentially experience, the main ones are as follows:
- Muscle and bone aches and pains
- Nausea
- Heartburn
- Indigestion
- Constipation
- Changes in your mood and outlook
- Tingling skin
- Hair thinning
- Hot flushes
- Headaches
- Blood clots
However, those side effects don’t usually all happen at once, and most people don’t get any at all. Just be aware of the side effects of Nolvadex in advance of using it, so that if they start to occur, you can either cut back on the dose or stop using it as a PCT completely (so for your first PCT course I’d recommend you have an alternative to hand).
But obviously the higher the dose of SARMs you are taking, and the longer the duration of your SARMs cycle, then the more chance there is that you will need a high dose Nolvadex PCT supplement, which will increase your chances of some of the side effects occurring.
Nolvadex Vs Clomid
Clomid is another estrogen inhibitor that is widely used as a post cycle therapy treatment by bodybuilding SARMs users.
It has a different mechanism of action to Nolvadex. It inhibits estrogen interaction in the pituitary gland, which leads to an increase in a hormone that is used to produce more testosterone.
So although it has a very similar end result, some people find it less palatable than Nolvadex. It’s usually a case of trying one and seeing if it works for you and if it doesn’t switch to the other.
I’ll also mention that at higher doses, Clomid actually has the ability to reduce sperm count. I don’t really know why this is, because elevated testosterone should increase sperm count, but it’s documented, and something you need to be aware of if you are trying for a child.
For me, Nolvadex seems to have fewer people talking about side effects on bodybuilding forums than Clomid. That’s why I started using it, and I’ve never had any problems other than some minor nausea and muscle pain.
Where To Find High-Quality Nolvadex For Sale
Using Nolvadex PCT is very common, and as long as you can find pure Nolvadex for sale then it’s a very safe way of recovering from testosterone suppression.
However, you have to know where to buy Nolvadex in the first place. It’s the same with SARMs. Most places sell rubbish that isn’t pure or is something completely different in the bottle. You have to find a SARMs seller that is reliable and offers evidence of the purity of their SARMs through independent third-party lab testing.
That way you know that the Nolvadex they sell is a PCT option that will also be high quality. In my five years using SARMs, I’ve found three places (from over a dozen I’ve experimented with) that sell pure SARMs, and pure Nolvadex that bounces my testosterone levels back up in around four weeks.
